Raw Protein Holiday Cookies

With the holidays fast approaching, we’re whipping up all kinds of protein-packed goodies in our kitchen. Months ago we discovered that adding RAW Protein to cookies and other baked treats is a breeze and any of the flavors (Original, Vanilla, Chocolate, Vanilla Spiced Chai) will add a nice healthy boost to any recipe. For these cookies, you can also easily adapt them with a vegan version simply by using an egg substitute, vegan butter sticks, and a dairy-free eggnog. If you plan to serve these cookies as part of a cookie swap or during the holidays when you have company, then this recipe will probably appeal to most cookie lovers.


2 cups flour

1 scoop or one packet of Raw Protein (we used Raw Protein Vanilla Spiced Chai!)

1 egg

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon organic vanilla extract

½ cup organic butter

1 ¼ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. cinnamon

½ tsp. nutmeg

¼ cup organic eggnog


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour, baking soda, nutmeg and cinnamon in a bowl. In a stand mixer or with a hand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until combined. Add the vanilla, egg and eggnog and combine. Add the flour mixture slowly, ½ cup at a time, and mix well.

Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Roll dough into small 2-3” balls with hands and place on the cookie sheet. Bake 13-14 minutes and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
