E! News Suggests Perfect Food Raw For New Year's Hangover Cure

Posted by: Rhonda Price on Monday, December 31, 2012

At Garden of Life, we hope you're ringing in the New Year on a happy, healthy note with plenty of energy to spare! However, if your head is splitting and your stomach is queasy from a killer hangover, you can opt for a solution that E! News has been showing on their popular entertainment network for the last few days -- a green drink with Perfect Food Raw!

During the past few days, we've been nodding our heads in agreement as an E! News nutritionist debunked several myths about hangover cures. For starters, skip drinking pots of coffee or greasy foods, as your touchy stomach will only get more irritated. Also bypass the "hair of the dog" method of drinking a Bloody Mary, as the last thing you need is another drop of alcohol, no matter what it's mixed with!  Instead, E! News devoted some major camera time to Perfect Food  Raw as a way to "go green" and restore your body's alkaline balance. Hats off to E! for recognizing there's a reason why Perfect Food Raw is the #1 selling greens supplement for many reasons, including the fact that it's the only one that is USDA Certified Organic and RAW.

Seriously folks, don't wait until your head is throbbing with a hangover to read the label on other greens supplements. Maybe you just assumed another brand was certified organic or thought it was raw, vegan, gluten-free, dairy free and without nasty binders or fillers. If you're really into nourishing your body at the cellular level with green drinks, I think you'll find that others are not so AMAZING because they are certainly not certified organic and are definitely not raw. On the other hand, Perfect Food Raw is definitely in a class by itself because each serving contains 17 nutrient-rich veggie juices that are freeze dried using a gentle process that maintains nutrient potency and freshness. It also contains over a dozen organic raw sprouts as well as a host of live probiotics and enzymes, all of which make other brands green with envy!

Of course Perfect Food Raw is not just a hangover cure, but a source of foundational nutrition for thousands of people worldwide. Many fans have eagerly shared their favorite Perfect Food Raw recipes with us, so we're including a few on today's blog post that you can try, whether you over-indulged at a New Year's bash or just want to feel great every day!

From Dr. Ken Grey of Juice & Essence:

This juice offers high antioxidant content, is vitamin and mineral packed and full of easily assimilated nutrients.  Kale eases lung congestion and benefits the stomach.  It is a great source of chlorophyll and a great cancer fighter.  Celery also helps with stomach issues along with fortifying the spleen-pancreas and liver.  Celery lowers blood pressure and when combined with lemon juice helps with the common cold.  Zucchini is healing to the spleen-pancreas and stomach while reducing inflammation and improving energy and circulation.  Kiwi helps stop diarrhea while treating fever with dry, painful throat.  Pear clears heat, helps with cough and constipation.  Cucumber acts as a diuretic, detoxifier and blood cleanser, purifies skin and acts as a digestive aid.  Lime is refreshing.  Ginger aids transformation and transportation of nutrients.  Clover sprouts add energy.  Parsley improves digestion and detoxifies meat or fish poisoning.  Parsley helps remove bladder, kidney and gallstones.

                                                                                                                                                 Makes approximately 3 cups
