Which systems are in place to ensure RAW Probiotics™ formulas Arrive Alive™?
The probiotics in RAW Probiotics are grown in a state-of-the-art culturing facility and immediately put into frozen storage. Afterwards they are shipped in a freezer truck to our manufacturing facility. When received, they are immediately brought into freezers for storage.  
The facility is temperature and humidity controlled to ensure the highest possible viability of the probiotics during processing. After blending, encapsulating and bottling, the finished goods are immediately placed back into coolers. The finished goods are kept in cold storage until ordered by the retailer and never left to sit in a hot warehouseor on a hot UPS delivery truck for days.
Once ordered, the probiotics they are packaged into special “green” (no Styrofoam) containers with frozen packs for delivery to stores. Retailers are instructed to store our RAW Probiotics™ in the cooler until the consumers make a purchase. I had no idea that Garden of Life is the only company that keeps the probiotics refrigerated the entire time before they get to the store. I guess other companies don't care about the expense or the benefits of doing this?

Actually, Natren has been keeping their probiotics refrigerated from manufacture through arrival for over 20 years.

But what abour the cargo hold of the plane? How can we be assured that the temperature in this scenario will never go above 71 degrees? Also, is there a way to test the probiotics after they arrive? Colour, texture, odour, anything?

I ordered my RAW Probiotics from Amazon and they did not arrive in a "cold pack". My previous orders from a different company did. Are they still as effective? Thanks

Hello, question - what steps are taken to keep the probiotics alive after ingestion? Since probiotics are mostly killed by gastric acid, without special capsule protection they are mostly dead regardless of how much preparation is done with freezing, etc.?
