Introducing Garden of Life Sponsored Athlete Regina Jaquess

Posted by: Ursula Zamora on Monday, February 25, 2013

If you are a fan of our Facebook page, you may have recently noticed a very cool cover photo of an amazing waterskier laying into a turn and making it look like anyone can do it. Garden of Life Sponsored Athlete Regina Jaquess is the most talented and accomplished waterskier in the World-having set many world, national, regional, and state records.

Getting her start on water skis at the young age of 2, Regina has taken the sport by storm.  She has won over 85 medals in International competition to date and is the only person in the history of collegiate skiing to hold records in three events-at one time!

Regina is also a member of the USA Water Ski team. She is a five time World Champion and holds World Records in both slalom and overall. Competing at the world class level has provided Regina the opportunity to train under the auspices of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and spend time at the USOC training center in Colorado Springs, which has enhanced her awareness and knowledge of sports medicine.

Off the water, Regina received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. She has received post graduate training in pharmaceutical compounding, and she has opened up her own compounding pharmacy in the Florida Panhadle.

We are thrilled to have Regina join the Garden of Life team of athletes and wish her well as she competes in the 11th Moomba Masters event in Melbourne, Australia March 8-11, 2013.
