Raw Fit Tropical Bliss

I’ve been hooked on our Garden of Life Raw Protein for awhile now and I’m not alone in giving it rave reviews. Lots of people regularly tell us they are obsessed, addicted, and full blown crazy about it, so it’s little wonder that Raw Protein is the # 1 seller in the Natural Products Industry. (according to SPINscan, which tracks the actual sales of natural products)

As much as I have enjoyed making smoothies and baking with our Chocolate, Vanilla and Vanilla Spiced Chai flavors, I couldn’t wait until our newest protein rolled out this month. Raw Fit is a high protein powder specifically designed for people seeking to lose weight and burn fat while maintaining healthy blood sugar levels – which means its also diabetic-friendly with a low glycemic index. Best of all, it offers the same assurance of quality that health savvy consumers have come to expect, including that it is:

  • Raw

  • Vegan

  • USDA Certified Organic

  • Non-GMO Project Verified

  • Soy free, dairy free, gluten-free

If you’re trying to reduce the junk in your trunk, you have to reduce the junk in your supplements also, which is why there are no binders, fillers, or synthetic ingredients in Raw Fit. Instead, you get a superior protein source with clinically studied ingredients, including:

  • High protein for weight loss – 28 grams

  • Clinically studied Ashwagandha

  • 126 mcg of Chromium

  • Clinically studied Svetol® or green coffee bean extract

Did I get your attention with the last ingredient? You may have heard about the wonders of green coffee bean extract in the media or on The Dr. Oz Show, where experts talked about how it helps support weight loss efforts. Combined with the clinically proven ingredients in Raw Fit, the green coffee bean extract helps you burn fat, satisfy hunger and fight cravings.

I decided to try Raw Fit for myself, and made a lot of different smoothies with it. I added all kinds of different ingredients, depending on what fruits or veggies I felt I needed each day, including blueberries, strawberries, Romaine lettuce, celery, oranges and even a few flaxseeds. Finally I landed on this delicious smoothie that I dubbed “Tropical Bliss” and now it’s hard for me to drink it any other way. Here are the ingredients so you can try it yourself:

Raw Fit Tropical Smoothie

1 cup vanilla almond milk

1 organic banana

5-6 chunks of pineapple

1 scoop of one packet of Garden of Life RAW FIT

1 tsp. Garden of Life Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

A few ice cubes if you like it cold

Blend it all up and enjoy. It’s so smooth and filling that you might not even notice when it’s lunch time or you might skip lunch entirely because it’s so satisfying. Did I mention that although it’s a dieter’s best friend, you don’t have to be on a diet to enjoy it because it’s also useful for maintaining your weight. As any yo-yo dieters know, the real battle isn’t always losing the weight, but finding a way to keep it off for good!

After a few weeks of using Raw Fit, I can tell that it definitely reduces cravings, because I have passed up all kinds of tempting desserts lately and haven’t missed them one bit – even though a snide friend commented that “a little bit of ice cream won’t hurt you.” Maybe not. Nevertheless, I smiled and said I’d rather pass up all the sugar in the ice cream and know that I wouldn’t be wearing Ben and Jerry’s on my rear end the next day. And I have Raw Fit to thank for that!

I can not find this anywhere! When I called the stores listed on the website they do not have it. I have tried stores in Alabama and Georgia. When can we expect this to be in stores?
Sam commented on Thursday, May 23, 2013
You have to order online. eBay. This is what I did because its so new stores don't carry it yet, even though the web site says it does.

I mix the raw fit with 12oz of rice or almond milk and 2 tsp of chocolate ovaltine! I like it this way because it is not so thick, and easier to drink. I have also mixed the raw fit with 8oz of strawberry banana smoothie and 8oz rice or almond milk. It is a bit thicker that way.

My morning smoothie
Raw fit vanilla, no sugar vanilla almond milk, frozen banana, chocolate barleans greens & dandy blend coffee substitute. OMG this is soooo good. My energy level is crazy on this. Probably an overload of ingredients but I made it by mistake in a rush & love it.

Yes! I agree this protein shake is great tasting. It's a must for me for breakfast. I mix it with a cup of almond milk that's it. Has anyone lost weight using this protein shake? If so what's the diet plan? thanks

I've been using Raw Fit for over a year now daily in a smoothie that includes yogurt, egg whites, 1 tbls Hyaluronic Acid, 3/4 cup frozen blueberries, 3/4 cup frozen cherries, 1 cup spinach or kale (to moderate folic acid), 1 banana, 1 apple (or pear), 1 scoop of a green powder (All Day Energy Greens; considering a substitute due to possible excess lead), and a 1/4 teaspoon of Vitamin Shoppe C-1000 (which gives me 1000 mg of C (maybe too much?). However, I don't use Almond Milk. Almond and Soy MIlk have an ingredient called carrageenan which is supposedly a carcinogen. I use Rice Milk. Actually tastes much better and there's nothing in the ingredients list that is bad. My suggestion: AVOID SOY MILK AND ALMOND MILK (unless you make it yourself; i.e., a Vitamix will let you do this).

I was wondering if it's a safe smoothie for a pregnant women.
Garden of Life commented on Thursday, March 26, 2015
Sarai-When adding anything new to your diet when pregnant it is always best to consult with your health care provider.

Does anyone know if you can bake with it?
