Two weeks after my initial shoulder injury, I felt a need to race again. Fontana was next on the schedule at the end of March. I had done several long distance road rides to keep my legs in shape. On one road ride, I felt the need to try to lift my front wheel over a curb to see how my shoulder felt, which tuned out to be a bad idea. I immediately stopped and grabbed my shoulder in pain, knowing that I'd have to get someone to examine it.
I ended up going to a chiropractor, and that really hurt! I cracked, popped, and was full of knots everywhere. The chiro said I was pretty messed up, not only from this injury, but from a multitude of several other injuries. After nearly crying from so much pain, I got up and immediately noticed an improvement from my shoulder. A week later (week 3 since the injury) I was back to racing again!
