Katie Mackey Powers Up with Garden of Life Supplements to Win the Oxy 2013

Posted by: Garden of Life on Monday, June 10, 2013

The Oxy HP meet was held on Friday May 17 at Occidental College in Los Angeles, and I won the women's 1500m with 4:04.6- a World A Standard, Meet and Stadium Record, currently the #15 1500m time run in the world in 2013 and #3 in the US!

I am beyond excited, as this was a 2 second personal best for me and the first time I have achieved the World A Standard. It had to be one of the most dramatic races I've ever run, coming down to .02 of a second lean for the win, and waiting almost 5 minutes to see who had won! In moments like that, I know all the little things I do daily, like taking Garden of Life's awesome supplements to keep me at the tip top of my game make all the difference!
