Red Sox hit it deep into RAWctober!

Had you asked anyone this time last year about the Boston Red Sox being just a few games away from the World Series this season, there would have been a number of reactions but none of them truly hopeful due to their last place finish in 2012.  Fast forward to the spring of 2013 at Jet Blue Field in Fort Myers, Florida.

When the Boston Red Sox returned to their spring time home in Fort Myers, there was a new face in the clubhouse:  Garden of Life Raw Meal.  This new addition to the Red Sox line up would prove to be a great support to the team’s health and nutrition.

During the last week of the regular season, Garden of Life was exhibiting at Expo East in Baltimore, MD and just up the street the Red Sox were closing the regular season against the Baltimore Orioles.  We were happy to get a visit from some of the team's trainers and players at our booth at Expo.

Week after week and month after month, the newly energized Red Sox took on the rest of the American League, leaving most of them games behind at the end of the season.  The Red Sox took the American League East title in late September which put them firmly into the division series.  With the best record in the American League, the only thing standing between the team getting into the American League Championship was the Tampa Bay Rays.

The series started Boston's historied Fenway Park.  The Red Sox readily swept through the Rays on their home field on October 4 to take a 2 game out of 5 advantage.  On Monday October 7 the series moved to Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL where the fans’ energy was electric and pushed the Rays to a 4-3 win over the Red Sox.  Game 4 brought another energized night from the crowds at the Trop, but it was no match for the RAW energy of the Red Sox.  Two runs in the 7th inning and one more in the 8th all but clinched the game.  With 3 swift outs in the 9th inning, the Red Sox gained their spot in the American League Championship for the first time since 2008.

The Red Sox await the winner of the series between the Detroit Tigers and Oakland A's that are their only barrier to the World Series.  Many will attribute this amazing turn around to the trademark good luck charm variety of beards the team is sporting, but you and I know what their secret weapon really is-Raw Meal!

I know this Red Sox fan is looking forward to a RAW World Series!

Well I hate the Red Sox but it is awesome to see athletes using a whole food supplement and not all the other crap on the market! Very awesome!
