Chef Gwen's Yerba Mate Green Tea Latte

Tis the season for many of us to be running around in circles-getting our homes prepped for the holidays, working, and the general energy drain that can come with life.  Chef Gwen's Yerba Mate Green Tea Latte is just the thing to make to naturally give you an energy boost! 

Yerba mate (yer-bah mah-tay) is made from the naturally caffeinated and nourishing leaves of the celebrated South American rainforest holly tree. The leaves of the rainforest mate tree naturally contain 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, abundant antioxidants.  Yerba Mate is a great source or raw energy, B12, protein, vitamins and minerals.

Yerba Mate Green Tea Latte 

1 scoop Garden of Life Raw Energy protein powder

1 bottle (16 oz) Guayaki Yerba Mate Unsweetened Mate Tea (or you can make your own)

1 cup Unsweetened Almond milk

10-12 drops of Sweet Leaf Vanilla Cream liquid stevia

Serves: 1-2

Preparation: Place all ingredients into a shaker cup and shake it up! Drink right away or store in refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
