Sweet Summer Treats from Chef Gwen Marzano

Changing your diet and eating healthier does not mean that you have to completely cut out "treats".  As our own Chef Gwen shows you with these 2 recipes, you CAN treat yourself...and treat yourself WELL!

Wonderful Watermelon Slushy

3 ½ cups cubed watermelon, frozen

2 ½ cups coconut water

Juice of 1 lime


Serves: 2-3


Preparation: Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until you reach a slushy consistency. Garnish with mint or a slice of watermelon and serve immediately.


Mango Delight

2 cups Frozen Mango

¼  cup. Light Coconut Milk (or use orange juice to create a sorbet)

6 drops Sweet Leaf Vanilla Cream liquid Stevia or 1 Tbsp. Honey  (optional)


Serves: 2



Place all ingredients into a high speed blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.  Enjoy immediately or store in freezer for up to 1 month. Top with fresh berries or shredded coconut flakes


Gluten free, soy free, dairy free
