Kind Organics Connects With Bloggers At BlogHer14 in San Jose

Posted by: Rhonda Price on Monday, July 28, 2014

Last week was a whirlwind of excitement as we met with hundreds of bloggers at BlogHer14 in San Jose. The event marked BlogHer's 10th anniversary and attracted women from throughout the country who blog about any and every topic imaginable. We were thrilled to participate for the second year in a row as an exhibitor because it was the perfect showcase for the launch of Garden of Life's new Kind Organics multivitamins! During the week we met with bloggers of all ages and walks of life who had two things in common -- a real concern for improving their health and for keeping their families healthy!

Talking with bloggers individually gave us the perfect opportunity to explain why all vitamins are not created equal and why Kind Organics multis are so special. Over and over we explained that while other vitamins (even "whole food" vitamins) are created in labs and contain artificial binders and fillers, Kind Organics multis contain nothing but real foods! Specifically, the multis are made with more than 30 Certified USDA Organic fruits, veggies, vitamins and minerals. Many bloggers also voiced approval for the fact that Kind Organics vitamins are non-GMO, and we were impressed to discover that several ladies were actively taking up the fight against genetically modified organisms in our nation's food supply.

In addition to answering questions and handing out sample bottles of Kind Organics Women's One-a-Days, we spoke to numerous bloggers who were happy to hear about how we collaborated with actress and health advocate Alicia Silverstone. As a longtime vegan, Alicia searched for vitamins for years, but could not find any without artificial ingredients or added chemicals. She teamed up with Garden of Life when she learned we were looking for the same thing and working on vitamins created with a patent-pending Clean Tablet Technology.

While meeting with hundreds of bloggers all week, it was easy for us to understand the top concerns about multivitamins. These were the most common questions:

Are the vitamins easy to swallow? (many said they couldn't conquer huge, "horse pills!")
Vitamins sometimes make me feel nauseous. Will these make me feel sick?
I know I should take a multivitamin. What kind should I take?
Can I take these vitamins when I'm pregnant or nursing?

Fortunately, we were able to address these valid concerns in person with these answers:
Kind Organics multis are in tableted form and are easy to swallow!
We haven't had any reports to date of Kind Organics multis making anyone feel nauseous. The big difference is that your body recognizes Kind Organics multis as food!
With 10 different formulas, check out the one that's right for you at www.OrganicMulti.com
Kind Organics Prenatals are great if you are pregnant or nursing!

In addition to giving away Kind Organics multivitamins to all attendees, Donna Hup from Northwood, Iowa, was the winner of our Selfiebration Contest and won a year's supply of vitamins and a gift basket. Congratulations, Donna!

Overall, we had a fantastic time at BlogHer14 and hope to see everyone again next year!
