Insane Nutrition

Posted by: Ursula Zamora on Sunday, October 14, 2012

An insane workout calls for some insane nutrition! So, after a recent Insanity® workout, I headed to the kitchen and whipped up this insanely delicious and nutritious drink!

In my juicer, I juiced:

~ 5 carrots (medium - large)
~ 3 apples
~ a knob-size piece of ginger
~ 1/2 lemon (optional)

I juiced this liquid directly into my blender container that also had the following ingredients in it:

~ 1 scoop of GOL's Perfect Food -- RAW Organic Green Super Food
~ 1 scoop of GOL's Vanilla RAW Protein
~ 2 tablespoons GOL's Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
~ 1 tablespoon Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar

I added a handful of ice and blended all of the ingredients together well.

The next day, I repeated the recipe without adding lemon to the fresh-juice portion. The juicing measurements that day changed to 3 carrots and 4 apples along with the knob-sized piece of ginger. Totally delicious! The ginger is a must, as it adds just the right "kick" to the overall combination.

When you mix the juice and GOL products together in the blender, you could also add a banana for more texture, if you like.

Enjoy this insane nutrition!
