From the high school football fields to Heinz Field and everywhere in between, LaMarr Woodley makes an impression.

In his hometown of Saginaw, Michigan, a young LaMarr was the #4 ranked college football prospect in the country, courting offers from schools like University of Florida, USC and Michigan State. It was the University of Michigan that landed the 6'2" defensive end and linebacker. His defensive play helped him get 12 sacks and the Lombardi Award in 2006 as well as unanimously being named first string Big Ten All-American.

In 2007 Woodley went to the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 46th round draft pick, and in his second pro game recorded his first sack against the Buffalo Bills...and the hits kept on coming. Nothing could stop this powerhouse and his teammates since his drafting as they played their way to two AFC championships and the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII win against the Arizona Cardinals in Tampa, Florida.

While he has earned the utmost respect from fellow players for his strength and seriousness on the field, off the field LaMarr Woodley is still a force-and sometimes farce-to be reckoned with! With his own LaMarr Woodley Foundation, LaMarr recently donated $60,000 to the Saginaw School District to cover athletic fees for all of its middle and high school athletes for the year. He had learned that due to budget cutbacks in the district, athletes would have to pay a $75 per student participation fee. Knowing that not all families could afford the fee, he stepped up and all of the athletes of Saginaw played on.

Woodley is also known for a sense of humor as big as he his hulking physique! He is a contributor to NOC (on YouTube) with videos punking fellow NFL teammates and players. He can also turn a work endorsement-such as the SkinIt video above-into a belly buster!

With all of this activity, it's no wonder that LaMarr needs the best nutrition for maximum energy. As one of Garden of Life’s sponsored athletes, he's found that in Garden of Life Raw One for Men Multivitamins, Raw Protein and Raw Meal!
