Weekly Recipes
Two glasses fill with Green Smothie stading one infront of the other

Green Smoothie
Yields 32 to 44 ounces that you can drink throughout the day

Ingredients:
3 cups baby spinach
1 cup water
1 Golden Delicious apple
2 mangoes
10 strawberries
ice
1 serving Garden of Life RAW Protein

Directions:
Blend well. Serve.

Endurance Protein Bars
Makes about 12 3-inch bars

Ingredients:
1 1/2cups almonds
2 cups pecans
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 dried figs, de-stemmed
2 dates, pitted
2/3 cup raw coconut nectar (Use maple syrup instead if you can’t find this.)

Directions:
Soak almonds overnight in water; then rinse well. Pulse the nuts in a food processor and process just until they are slightly chunky. (Be careful not to overprocess or you’ll end up with nut butter.) Add the spices and the vanilla extract, then the figs, dates and coconut nectar; and process until the mixture becomes evenly mixed and moist. Pour the mixture into an 8 x 8 inch glass baking dish and press in with the back of a spoon or with slightly moist hands to compress. Dehydrate at 105 degrees Fahrenheit overnight for about 18 hours to harden, or if you don’t have a dehydrator, place in the oven at the lowest setting with the door cracked open a bit for about 5 to 6 hours, or until it hardens enough to be cut into slightly firm bars. Sometimes, if I’m in a time bind, I don’t dehydrate or dry the bars at all. I just store them in the fridge and serve slightly more moist bars, which are perfectly fine to consume.

Strawberry Start-Me-Up
Serves 1 or 2

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop Garden of Life RAW Fit
1 peeled orange
2 cups coconut water (unpasteurized preferred)
1 handful of spinach

Directions:
Toss everything into blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately!
