Break-fast Salad

Chocolate Banana Breakfast
Serves 2 

2½ cups non-sweetened almond milk
1 scoop Garden of Life RAW Protein, chocolate
1 scoop Garden of Life Perfect Food® RAW, chocolate
1 scoop Garden of Life Super Seed®
2 cups frozen organic banana chunks
1 Tablespoon raw honey (optional)
1 handful of organic greens, such as spinach or kale

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy right away!

 Pineapple Treasure Smoothie

Raw Chocolate Ginger Stacked Cake with Frosting
Makes 6 pieces

Cake Ingredients:
1 cup organic almonds
¾ cup organic walnuts
¼ cup raw organic cacao
¼ teaspoon high-quality sea salt
1 teaspoon grated ginger
3 Tablespoons raw organic coconut nectar (or maple syrup)
5 Medjool dates, pitted
1 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting Ingredients:
¾ cup organic avocado flesh
3 organic dates
2 Tablespoons raw organic cacao powder
¼ cup raw coconut nectar
Fresh mint, as a garnish (optional)

Process the almonds, walnuts and cacao in a food processor and grind well. Add the sea salt, ginger, coconut nectar, dates and vanilla and mix again until a smooth mixture is formed. Press the mixture firmly into a 8 x 6 rectangular glass baking dish, or a dish of a similar size. Cut in half and separate with a spatula, as you will be stacking one half of the cake on top of the other. Make frosting by blending the avocado, dates, cacao and coconut nectar in a blender or food processor. Use half the frosting to frost one of the halves, then stack the other half of the cake carefully on top. Finally frost the top of the double-layered cake with the remainder of the frosting. Slice into pieces lengthwise and across. Garnish with a little mint on the side to add a pop of color.

Pie in the Sky Smoothie

Raw Coconut Macaroons (with raw organic cacao powder)
Makes about 10 macaroons

2 cups unsweetened organic coconut flakes
½ cup raw organic cacao powder
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon high-quality sea salt
½ teaspoon powdered stevia
½ cup raw organic coconut nectar or maple syrup

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, adding the coconut nectar or maple syrup last. Scoop out small mounds with a spoon and onto a plate or pan. The mixture will be very sticky, so it can be helpful to use a second spoon to help scrape the mixture off the first spoon. Place in the freezer for at least three to four hours before serving. Store them in the fridge.
