Booty-Firming Moves

Perhaps there’s nothing worse than a saggy, flat derriere. So, get up off your bum and perform these three exercises for a shapelier bottom! They’re easy to do, and this entire workout can be done in about 15 minutes—right on your living room floor.

Be sure to perform each exercise without resting in between. After you’ve completed a cycle of all three, rest for one or two minutes, and then repeat cycle two more times. If you do this at least three times per week, then you’ll be on your way to a more defined bottom in no time!

Ready? Here we go:
 

Reverse Bench Lunge

Reverse Bench Lunge

Place a fitness ball, sturdy chair or bench behind you. Bend right leg and position on chair. Keep torso straight and shoulders back. Bend left knee to a 90-degree angle. Push up on left leg, straighten left knee and return to starting position. Perform eight to 12 reps; switch legs and repeat.

 
Plié

Plié

Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, arms at sides and toes turned out. Keep your back straight and lower body into a plié squat as low as you can go. Knees should not go past toes. Simultaneously raise arms to shoulder height in front of body, palms down. Hold for five seconds, and return to starting position. Perform 15 reps.

 
Donkey Kick

Donkey Kick

Get on your hands and knees, keeping your back straight. Draw your abs in, lift your left leg parallel to the floor, with knee bent and foot flexed, keeping your glutes tight. Return to starting position. Perform 15 reps; switch legs and repeat.

 

You see? It’s easy to shape up your booty with these fanny-firming moves!
