Layered Smoothie

This layered smoothie recipe is fun to make, fun to look at, and fun to drink - the protein-packed inside means this fun drink also has benefits!
Serves: 1-2
Ingredients
Use Organic if possible
Green Goddess Smoothie:

2 cups unsweetened almond milk
-
1 small avocado (about ½ cup mashed)
-
1 large banana
-
1 hefty handful of spinach leaves
-
5 pitted dates (optional)
-
1½ cups of ice
**Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
Pineapple Ginger Smoothie
-
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-
1 cup coconut water
-
1 inch finely chopped ginger root
-
6 baby carrots
-
2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
-
1 ripe banana
**Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
Preparation

To make layers, pour green smoothie into a glass about ½ way then pour the pineapple smoothie into the glass to the top.

Use a straw to draw fun lines up from the bottom of the glass.

Add toppings like coconut flakes, granola or fresh fruit/herbs to garnish.
