Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. rolled oats
- ½ cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 cup plain kefir
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 tsp. maple syrup
- ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 scoop Garden of Life Unflavored Grass-Fed Collagen Peptides
Preparation
- Place the oats in a dry skillet set over medium heat. Heat, stirring frequently, for 3 to 5 minutes, until the oats are golden and fragrant.
- Transfer the toasted oats to a blender. Add the pumpkin puree, frozen banana, kefir, chia seeds, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and collagen peptides. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the smoothie into a glass. If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream or yogurt and a sprinkle of extra ground cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.
Notes
- Taste and adjust the amount of maple syrup or pumpkin pie spice after blending, if needed.
- To adjust the consistency, add ice for a thicker smoothie or a splash of milk to thin it out.
