Ingredients

For the strawberry smoothie layer:

  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ¾ cup frozen sliced strawberries
  • ½ Tbsp. honey, optional

For the matcha layer:

  1. Combine the strawberry layer ingredients—milk, frozen strawberries, and honey—in a blender. Blend until smooth and thick. If needed, add an extra splash of milk or a few more strawberries to reach a creamy, spoonable consistency.
  2. Pour the strawberry mixture into a tall serving glass. Place the glass in the refrigerator or freezer while you prepare the matcha layer.
  3. Rinse the blender jar. Add the remaining plant-based milk, matcha powder, vanilla protein powder, banana, and spinach. Blend until completely smooth and lightly frothy.
  4. Slowly pour the matcha layer over the strawberry layer. Garnish with crushed freeze-dried strawberries or a sprinkle of matcha powder, if desired. Serve immediately.
