Here’s a yummy trail mix recipe that’s full of nutritious nuts and seeds along with a dash of turmeric powder. Yes, please!

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

Use Organic if possible

Preparation

  1. Place coconut oil in a skillet and heat to medium high. Add in coconut palm sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and turmeric and stir for about 1 minute.

  2. Add in nuts, pumpkin seeds and goji berries and coat well and stir for another minute.

  3. Turn heat off and add in salt and pepper and stir again.

  4. Place trail mix on a parchment-lined cookie sheet at let fully cool.

  5. Store trail mix in refrigerator for up to two weeks or in freezer for 1 month.
