Vanilla Chai Loaf

This delicious, protein-packed loaf is the perfect breakfast item or anytime snack for people on-the-go.
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
Use Organic if possible

2 ½ cups gluten-free flour
-
1 scoop Garden of Life Vanilla Chai Raw Organic Protein Powder
-
2 tsp baking powder
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
½ tsp sea salt
-
½ tsp baking soda
-
1 egg
-
¾ cup maple syrup
-
3 Tbsp Garden of Life Coconut Oil - melted
-
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-
1 cup walnuts (chopped)
Glaze
Whisk all together until smooth:

1 cup Swerve Confectioners Sugar
-
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together the dry ingredients (first 6 ingredients) and set aside.

Using an electric mixer, mix together the egg, maple syrup and coconut oil.

Alternate mixing in the almond milk and the flour into the wet ingredients until everything is well combined.

Spread batter into a greased 9x5 baking loaf pan.

Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top then bake for 45 minutes. Once loaf has cooled, drizzle on glaze.
