Most Significant Career Highlight:  World Champion in the Time Trial, Road Cycling and 2008 and 2012 USA Olympian

Favorite food:  Something nutrient dense.  I’m such a boring functional eater.  If I said vegetables, you’d laugh.

My Health Food Store:  Sprouts or Mother’s Market

My Favorite Garden of Life supplements:  Raw Organic Meal and Raw Fit, Raw Women’s Probiotic, mykind Multivitamin, Vitamin D, Omega 3, and Wobenzyme… the chocolate macadamia Fuco bars, too!

My Secret to Staying Healthy:  Learning to listen to my body.  I tell my athletes that our bodies whisper first, speak second, and then will finally yell stop.  If we heed the whispers, we can address issues without any, or very limited downtime.  Eating lots of nutrient dense food.  Our bodies also want to stay well.  If we give them what they need and not what they don’t, they usually work best.

My Significant Others:   My husband, Jason.

My Favorite Song:  Always changing and depends on if I am doing a hard training effort or relaxing.

My Favorite Movie:  The Shawshank Redemption

My Favorite Holiday:  Christmas

My Favorite Item of Clothing:  Black pair of yoga pants

What I Want to Be When I Grow Up:  Who said I was going to grow up? When I finish being a full time athlete, I’d like to advance to the highest coaching level possible (cycling), expand my non-profit charity from grass roots to big time, and do more speaking.

My Favorite Super Hero:  Superman

Charities or Causes I Support:  The Dare To Be Project

If I Could Change One Thing About Myself It Would Be:  I’d fix my teeth, so I wouldn’t hide my smile.

My New Year’s Resolution/Goal for 2015 is:  My goal is to make it back to the National Championship top step…and then go from there.
