Vegan & Nut-Free Pesto

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Garden of Life Dr. Formulated MCT Oil (can sub for 1/2 or all olive oil if preferred)
  • 3 gloves garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend for 1 minute.
  2. Scrape the sides down and continue blending until creamy.
  3. Add it to pasta or salad, or use it as a dip or spread!
