ARONIA BERRIES
Aronia melanocarpa
Aronia berries (often called “black chokecherries”) are native to eastern North America but are also grown in Eastern Europe. The fruit is dark purple and bitter, but was used by indigenous people extensively as a food and medicine. These berries are very high in anthocyanins, and other flavonoids, giving them a strong antioxidant quality. Its major use as traditional medicine is to support the liver, help maintain normal blood sugar, and support anti-inflammatory functions. Our Top Sellers
