Shamrock Protein Balls

How about a little green—matcha powder, that is—to make these Shamrock Protein Balls the perfect way to celebrate St. Paddy’s day? These absolutely delicious protein balls are full of good stuff like matcha powder, almond butter, maple syrup, and Vanilla Raw Organic Protein powder for an extra punch of goodness. These no-bake pops of delight require minimal prep time but will result in maximum belly joy! Not only for St. Paddy’s Day, but we’re also sure you’ll be making these year-round.

 

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Chill Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yields: 12-15 protein balls

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 scoop GOL Vanilla Raw Organic Protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp. matcha powder
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Extra matcha powder for coating (optional)

 

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, protein powder, and matcha powder. Stir well to ensure even distribution.
  2. Add almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until the mixture comes together and forms a dough-like consistency.
  3. Take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your palms to form a ball. Repeat until all the dough is used.
  4. Roll the protein balls in a light dusting of matcha powder for extra flavor and visual appeal. (Optional step)
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
