Ingredients

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. Arrange cut cantaloupe on the parchment paper in a single layer. Place in the freezer until the melon is frozen, at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Transfer frozen cantaloupe to a food processor with a multipurpose blade or a high-speed blender. Process until the melon resembles a crumbly texture.
  3. Add milk, honey, water, and protein powder to the cantaloupe. Process until mixture is mostly smooth and fluffy (it’s ok if there are some small pieces of fruit visible), pausing as needed to scrape the sides of your container.
  4. Serve right away or freeze for a firmer consistency. Use a spatula to transfer the sorbet to a storage container with a lid. Keep frozen until ready to serve. Let the sorbet sit at room temperature for at least 5 minutes before scooping.
  5. Garnish with orange zest, if desired.
