Chocolate Peppermint Protein Latte

We’ve taken the deliciously wonderful holiday combination of chocolate and peppermint and created this warming protein latte treat. Our Chocolate Peppermint Protein Latte recipe includes Raw Organic Protein powder in chocolate flavor for an extra punch of goodness. So light up the fire and sip the wonderfully satisfying flavors of the holidays.
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups milk of choice
- 2 scoops Garden of Life Raw Organic Protein- Chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 cup brewed coffee or espresso
- ½ teaspoon peppermint extract
- ½ cup coconut whipped cream
- Crushed peppermints, to garnish
Preparation:
- In a large protein shaker, add the milk, protein powder, and cocoa powder. Shake until well combined.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the coffee and peppermint extract. Slowly add protein mixture to the saucepan while stirring. Continue to heat until warm, stirring constantly.
- Pour into two glasses and top with whipped cream and crushed peppermints, as desired. Enjoy!
