Our organic oatmilk is supplied to us by long-standing trusted farming partners and is made from special organic, gluten-free oats grown on their North American organic farms, delivering a pleasant oat flavor and the desired smooth texture. 

How ‘Bout Them Coconuts 

Here’s where our story gets even better. Our sustainably grown coconuts come from small family farms where we pay farmers above Fair-Trade prices. Low carbon footprint means, planting and harvesting is done manually, with no fertilizers or pesticides. Palm trees sequester carbon dioxide which helps to counter the effects of climate change. There is zero waste, we use 100% of the coconut. About 25% is coconut meat used to produce the coconut milk which is shipped as dry powder to reduce ocean freight fuel by 95%. Another 40% is the husk which is placed around the trees as a natural fertilizer and to provide shelter for snakes which control harmful pests. The shell, around 15%, is used as a biofuel to run the factories with zero energy from the grid used. The remaining 20% is water, used for coconut water. So nothing is wasted, 100% of the coconut is used. 

As a Carbon Neutral Certified brand, sustainability is an important part of our story. Coconut water and coconut milk are a source for valuable nutrients, but they are usually processed and shipped long distances overseas. This adds to carbon emissions in the air that are harming our environment. Our coconut supplier ships these items as coconut powders to help to reduce the carbon footprint by removing unnecessary water in coconut products before they are shipped around the globe. 

Fair Trade – Our coconut supplier works on an exclusive basis with farms throughout India, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It is our joint mission with our supplier to ensure that mutually rewarding trade exists with our farmers and their families and villages. Socioeconomic programs have been implemented.
